CERAMICA GRESLAB INVESTS IN X55 TECHNOLOGY FROM EMAR IMPIANTI
The Scandiano, Reggio Emilia-based cooperative Greslab, a young and dynamic player in the Italian ceramic tile industry, is continuing its growth in terms of output and technology in the segment of hi-tech materials for floors and pavings in interiors, exteriors and public spaces.
After completing an initial investment that involved the installation of a new Sacmi PH4600 press, Greslab is now aiming to expand its product range through a major new partnership with Emar Impianti. Specifically, the two companies have reached an agreement for the supply of an X55 Micron multiple loading system which is due to be installed in June this year.
The X55 Micron press feeding system will allow for the production of high-quality porcelain tile using a double and triple loading process. By decorating simultaneously with materials such as spray-dried powders, glazes, flakes and grits, it is possible to obtain extremely rich, composite materials with a highly natural, textural look. X55 also allows for a high degree of customisation, an increasingly important requirement in the ceramic sector.
Thanks to its intense R&D efforts, which will now be further boosted by the contribution of Emar Impianti, Greslab has achieved outstanding results in just six years of business. It has carved out an important role in the Italian manufacturing sector and established strong collaboration and supply relationships with leading ceramic companies.
